Holiday Closure Schedule

We will be closed on the following days:

  • New Year’s Day - Jan. 1
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day - Jan. 20
  • Memorial Day - May 26
  • Independence Day - Jul. 4
  • Labor Day - Sept. 1
  • Veterans Day - Nov. 11
  • Thanksgiving Day - Nov. 27
  • Day after Thanksgiving - Nov. 28
  • Christmas Eve - Dec. 24
  • Christmas Day - Dec. 25
  • New Years Eve - Dec. 31

SLWSD follows the state of Florida's guidelines when celebrating holiday schedules, therefore, the schedule is subject to change if additional days are designated as holidays for one-time observance by the Governor of Florida. 

2025 Holiday Season Additional Information:

Governor Ron DeSantis has announced additional state office closures for the 2025 holiday season. As a result, SLWSD offices will be closed on the following additional dates: November 26; December 26; and January 2.
