Services Support
SLWSD's Services Support Staff handle essential administrative, organizational, and communication functions that allow the District to deliver efficient, reliable, and transparent service to the community.
Office Administration oversees the day-to-day administrative operations of the District. They manage budgeting, records, compliance, and internal staff while providing direct support to District leadership. This team also coordinates closely with all departments to ensure strategic goals are achieved and District operations run efficiently. In addition, Office Administration serves as the primary point of contact for residents and commercial customers—assisting with service inquiries, billing, payments, and general account support.
Human Resources focuses on the people who make the District work. It manages recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and employee training, as well as policies, benefits, and performance evaluations. By maintaining positive employee relations and ensuring compliance with workplace standards, Human Resources supports a skilled and motivated workforce dedicated to serving the community.
Public Information ensures open, accurate, and timely communication between the District and the public. It provides updates on news, announcements, public meetings, and board information through the District’s website, social media, and other communication channels. Public Information also works with all departments to coordinate messaging—particularly during emergencies or infrastructure events—helping residents stay informed and connected to their local government.
