Public Notice - Irrigation Water Restrictions Are Being Applied Due to Low Rainfall Conditions

From Jan. 5, 2026 until further notice

To conserve water during current low rainfall conditions, the St. Lucie West Services District (SLWSD) will adjust irrigation water operations beginning Jan. 5, 2026 until further notice. These restrictions are temporary and may be lifted with sufficient rainfall.

Updated Irrigation Water Schedule During These Restrictions:

System OFF:

  • Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
  • 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM

System ON:

  • Monday, 5:30 PM – Wednesday, 9:30 AM
  • Wednesday, 5:30 PM – Thursday, 9:30 AM
  • Thursday, 5:30 PM – Friday, 9:30 AM

Tuesdays: Fully operational for maintenance.

Most irrigation occurs overnight, so regular watering schedules will not be affected.

SLWSD provides irrigation water to its customers. This water consists of reclaimed water (treated wastewater) and water collected from stormwater retention ponds. We appreciate your cooperation. A follow-up notice will be issued when restrictions are lifted.
