Request a Temporary Water Meter Account

Below are steps to complete an application for a temporary water meter account.

Examples that you may need one for: New construction, property remodeling, pressure washing the exterior of the property, etc.

Application Instructions

Required documents:

  • Completed Application for Service.
  • Signed Acknowledgment of Release of Liability “Waiver."
  • Driver’s license for primary account holder. (scan or photocopy).
  • Deposit: $1,000.00 — check or money order (no fee).
  • If paying with a credit card a 3.10% processing fee will apply.
  • Sunbiz: authorized signor must appear on Sunbiz; if not, provide LOA.

Step 4.Submit application

Submit application, waiver, and required documents to: SLWSD Customer Service

Step 5.Pay the deposit

After you submit the application and receive confirmation from our Customer Service Team stating that your account has been established you may pay your deposit according to one of the payment methods in the above required documents section.
