Christmas & New Year Holiday Office Closure Notice

Our offices will be closed for the Christmas and New Year holiday season on Dec. 24–26, Dec. 31, and Jan. 1–2, in accordance with the State of Florida’s holiday schedule. We will continue to respond to emergencies related to water line breaks, sewer line breaks, irrigation line breaks, and wastewater lift station alarms. Public Notice: Irrigation Water Restrictions

To conserve water during current low rainfall conditions, the SLWSD will adjust irrigation water operations starting Jan. 5, 2026. These restrictions will be lifted with sufficient rainfall. For additional information on this advisory, click on the link below.

2nd Injection Well Project

Linquist Bros. construction equipment including a well driller drilling on the ground.

Construction of our 2nd Injection Well continues at our Water Treatment Facility, at 450 SW Utility Drive, with Linquist Bros. reaching 3,000 feet below surface. The project is scheduled to be completed by Dec. of this year. Injection wells allows for injection of reverse osmosis water treatment rejects well below ground, following EPA guidelines.
